Concept design // mobile guide for the Monte San Giorgio

For my graduationthesis I wanted to work for the Monte San Giorgio, a worldwide famous geological site. Since entering the UNESCO list, the Interreg IIIA group worked to promote it. I went for an innovative solution: a mobile guide based on a Palm Pilot. First, an initial research in the theory of popularization of science, followed by an onsite data collection. Lastly, the fun part: the design of the user interface

This concept has been imagined before the iPhone, when the use of GPS and Internet on mobile devices was not as widespread as it is today.
